MERCUROCHROME (7/99) and GOOD DAY (9/99)
were recorded at The Loft in Saline, MI by Tim Patalan.
EASY WAY OUT (11/96) was recorded at The Barn in Great Barrington,
MA by Frank Aversa.
In the beginning, before the 20 hour van
rides, the big record deals, the platinum albums and paternity
suits there were only the songs. Well, actually there were
the songs and a Columbus Dispatch paper route. The truth
be told... we had no songs, but we had a paper route, plenty
of free time and a bunch of Cheap Trick and Kinks albums.
One day while folding newspapers in my parents garage in
suburban Worthington, Ohio it occurred to me and my good
buddy, Joe Oestreich, that we might as well start rocking.
So we did. We weret old enough to drive so we loaded
our gear on a city bus (no joke.) and went to this guy named
Herbs house for our first practice. A young Mike McDermott
showed up shortly there after with some beer and some suggestions
and the band was born. My savings account has never recovered.
To be continued....
