Can't Be Myself/Just For Show
2001. Taken from the upcoming Watershed full length, The
More It Hurts, The More It Works. Finally, studio material
that lives up to the promise of the live show. A little
taste of what's to come. Recorded, Produced, and Mixed by
Tim Patalan at The Loft, Saline, MI. JO says, "Can't
wait to get the whole freaking album out".
Wreck It
2001. Written in 5 minutes, recorded and mixed in about
3 (or however long it took to play it). Inspired by the
infamous Devil's Night Bender 2000 in Detroit. Participants
included Speedball, Supersuckers, Trash Brats, Immortal
Winos of Soul, and Keith Richards (in spirit). Recorded,
Produced, and Mixed by Tim Patalan at The Loft, Saline,
MI. CG says, "Don't request it unless you mean it."
Sweet Kisses/Bitter Scars
2001. A little heartbreak goes a long way. Loud, proud,
and bound for obscurity, this is probably the best Watershed
song to never make an album. Recorded, Produced, and Mixed
by Tim Patalan at The Loft, Saline, MI. DM says, "What!
This isn't going on the album?"
One Word Title
1996. From the Star Vehicle sessions. An unfinished demo
taken from a cassette for the beloved die-hard fans. Recorded
and Mixed by Frank Aversa at The Barn, Great Barrington,
MA. JO says, "Managed to work in switch-blade combs
and blue-tip matches."
The #1 Killer
2001. Inspired by Neil Young's Ragged Glory album. A band
favorite that has yet to find a home. An acoustic-style
soundcheck recorded by Paul Abbott at the Treehouse, Columbus,
OH. CG says, "We'll make a whole album in this style
one day. And that's a threat."
All songs by Gawel/Oestreich - Larry Funderbunk
